Description: 11 VINTAGE STRIPED LINEN COTTON KITCHEN TEA TOWELS, COTTON TOWELS, PLACEMATS Another batch of stuff gramma has saved for years for unknown reasons. I don't really know much about kitchen towels vs tea towels vs napkins or the accepted measurements for all. I'm going to describe to the best of my ability, with measurements, and the rest is up to you. 4- Red, white, blue, yellow, green stripe place mats. Hemmed and heavy so I'm thinking they are placemats. Maybe cotton or some combo of linen/cotton. See pictures- one has alot of spots and one has a few weird shady marks, the other two look good. Measure 16 x 13. 2- Teal and pink stripes. Perhaps tea towels due to their size- 26 x 16. Linen, hemmed, and long. I did not see any age discoloration. 1- Red, white, blue, yellow, green, black stripe Tea Towel/ Kitchen Towel? Measures 20 x 15. Linen, hemmed, and has weird bird sitting on leafy branch design embroidery (gramma embroidery). I did see one very light shaded spot, but I didn't see any age spots. 1- Yellow, blue stripe linen with embroidered flowers in a viney pattern (gramma embroidery)- tea towel or kitchen towel? Measures 21 x 13. I see two very faint age spots. 3- One linen PINK Stripe (measures 33 x 16.5) and TWO GREEN (measures 32 x 16.75) stripe linen tea towel/kitchen towels? Hemmed. Couple pulls but otherwise look pretty good. I don't see any spots on them. Nice vintage towels or tea towels or? All look pretty good to me, nice group of linens, with minimal age discoloration or spotting. Can likely soak out any discolorations and age spots with with "Mama's Miracle Linen Soak- Rescues stained vintage linens".I used it on some of gramma's other linens and tatted things, soaked over night and wha-la.
