1/35th Accurate Armour British Alvis SARACEN Mk-2 6x6 APC

Description: This 1/35th scale Resin kit depicts the standard Mk-2 (FV603b/c) production version with later and eventually standard Ferret Scout Car 0.30 Cal turret. The model features full suspension, accurate 12" x 20" tyres with subtle bulging, opening hatches and window flaps, full external stowage, and all the subtle welding details accurately depicted inside and out. A choice of empty or covered smoke dischargers is also included. This kit includes as standard an accurate and complete full interior for the crew and infantry compartments, fittings and extensive stowage. The engine bay is fully detailed with correct radiator detail, B80 engine and other fittings accessed through the four opening and interlocking deck hatches. For ease of assembly all of the interior can be painted before final fitting and we have supplied a choice of No.19/No.88 or Larkspur Radios. It was found that overheating inside the crew compartment was a problem in desert climates and from 1955 onwards vehicles could be converted to Reverse Flow Cooling (RFC) to reduce interior temperatures. We have included an RFC option with this kit, as shown fitted in the pictures above. An extensive etched brass detail set including rear mesh steps and many smaller fittings, stays and straps, coloured transparent light castings, and full colour decals with authenticated vehicle registrations and some tactical markings are also included.We only stock kits. What you are buying is a model kit to be assembled and painted. It is not a toy for your kid. It is a model kit great for anyone adult or child who what to build something using their skills. Please note if the item is a conversion, update, or detail set you must provide the base kit for it. It does not come with it. Resin kits like these are not for the beginning modelers or one that wants a shake and bake kit. They take time and work. If you want an easy kit that just falls together then stick to plastic Tamiya kits.
