Description: A cutoff from a marching snare drum shell, 14 inches by 4.5 inches. This was from an unknown brand drum, US-made from the 1930s, perhaps a Sherwood or something sold by Sears Roebuck or similar. Two-ply construction with a nailed scarf joint and one maple rering. Condition as shown, ply separation and residue on the outer ply/finish. More or less in round, rering is in good shape as is the factory edge. There are no holes anywhere on this shell, ready to be repurposed. ------------ Visit my eBay store for hundreds more drum parts!
