Description: Wonderful Vintage/Antique natural Turquoise round beads necklace with solid 14k yellow gold clasp! this turquoise is hard gem quality and displaYs brown shade and chocolate veins/inclusions. also the cord is chocolate brown which was used by the artisan to complement the veins in the turquoise I suppose. this is USA turquoise. this is rare item. i do not know exactly from which mine this turquoise, but there are few kinds of turquoises which display chocolate/brown veins and inclusions. some of the mines are closed today. this necklace is from pre mid century/mid century. the clasp marked 14k and fully tested, works well! even the ends of the cord are marked for 14k gold which is rare and tells the quality of this item! the turquoise beads approx 7.4-7.6mm, only near clasp are smaller and approx 5 mm each. the wearable lenght of the shortest strand over 16” - when clasped it would be approx 16.3-16.4”, the other strand is a little longer - please see multiple photos how it looks when worn. the weight is approx 48g and approx 200TCW of the turquoise - please see photo. the turquoise is natural and solid. each bead was carved from solid mined turquoise - not reconstituted. fast USA insured priority shipping! smoke free environment!
