Description: 1900s Antique Silk Wedding Gown Dress Provenance. Circa 1912-15 silk floral wedding gown in cream, absolutely stunning with only few stains and some tiny holes under the pits, beautiful sequin and beaded details to the front and back of the gown, the gown is floor length so I know it is before WWI. The gown has a wrap around waist with two long washes of silk toed of with wonderful iridescent balls of color. A pair of original 1910s Red Cross shoes adorn the gown and one of the original leather bows comes with it! There’s even a photograph of the original owner who was a teacher in Decorah, Iowa and there is a photograph with her children, her name is very hard for me to read so I won’t bother typing it out, but the dress came from the original family who kept it all together all these years and will now go to its new home to be loved as much as she loved her dress on her wedding day!
