Description: 1919 Portrait photograph of Chicago White Sox player Roy Wilkinson who was one of the teams better pitchers at the end of the season and who was productive in two World Series games relieving banished "Black Sox" players. Rare image with a 1920 date stamp on back, the photo has two small pinholes and some handling wear throughout (bends and light creases) as well as some artistic tracing over Wilkinson's image to make it stand out for publication. Reverse has some pretty intense pencil action from news-room use, but this does not effect the image whatsoever. A rare player to find in White Sox Uniform, this is unique and one of his best ever issued! Measures 6.75x9.5 #61476
