Description: Offering a 1920's era, Japanese bronze, SUIBAN or BONZAI or IKEBANA planter/tray/container. No maker marks on the bottom or sides. Measures 6-1/4" wide x 9-1/2" long x 2-3/4" deep. The inside planting depth is 1-1/4" for stones or soil. Has a nice aged, overall patina. Does show some polishing residue that was left at some point in time. I have not attempted to clean it. Has several different Japanese cultural, theatrical and Noh mask features cast on the outside walls. Very heavy and boldly decorated. Would look good filled with stones and used for displaying any Bonzai tree or rock sculpture. Sold As Found. Offered with FREE U.S.P.S.
