Description: 1937-1940 Packard V-12 CORMORANT HOOD ORNAMENT: BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL CHROME! I do not have the Packard, or it's gas cap any longer. It measures approximately 8 9/16" tall, and a cap diameter of 4 1/4". All knurls are intact on cap. Threads in cap mount are untested, but look clean for installation of a gas cap if you are going to use this piece. The wings may be slightly tilted, which you should be able to see in front shot picture...... and there is an area INSIDE each wing with a not so shiny finish (SEE PIC.). I can't tell if those areas will polish up, or it that was factory in chroming? Lastly, there are areas of minor rub or swirls to the finish. They are really not an issue to overall appearance at all!! Let's find this worthy piece a new home!!
