The cover is franked with a pair of Nigeria Scott #65 (Stanley Gibbons #50b), the 1 penny red violet King George VI stamp from 1944. The stamps are tied to the cover by Port Harcourt, Nigeria postmarks dated November 10, 1948. There is a Moran, Mich. postmark dated January 3, 1948 (apparently someone forgot to change the year). There is a New York, N.Y. opera glass 4¢ postage due marking. This cover measures 152mm x 90mm.
