Description: The program is in very good condition. The only flaw is a light verticle crease that runs through the program. There are no tears, no cutouts, and all pages are secure. The cover features the 1955 NASCAR Champion, Tim Flock, and the 1955 AAA Champion, Frank Mundy. Pictures were taken of each page to assist with the condition and content of the program. The fifth race of the 1956 NASCAR season was held on the one-mile dirt track at the Arizona State Fairgrounds on January 22nd. The race was scheduled for 150 laps with the pole winner, Joe Weatherly, leading the field of 30 cars to the green flag on front of 5,200 people. In his first race driving for Carl Kiekhaefer, Buck Baker would win this race by one car length over his teammate Frank Mundy. Finishing third was his other teammate, Tim Flock. Rounding out the top five were Marvin Panch and Lee Petty. Please review the other racing items I have listed at the eBay store, The Checkered Past. I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost. Thanks!
