1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior

Description: I have no proof or record of this but George Jones has, at least, seen this Les Paul and it’s possible he played it. George Jones and my Paw used to jam together in east Texas back in the 50s and 60s. It was passed down to me from my Paw in 1993 but I have since stopped playing. I don’t have anyone to pass it to so I want someone who will appreciate this absolute marvel. I don’t have to say this if you are still reading, but this is the simplest masterpiece that has ever been made of mahogany wood and strings. This classic gem is in great shape, considering the age (but you know that). The main imperfection, other than typical wear and tear, is the chip on the top right of the headstock (see photos). The only things that aren’t original from when my Paw bought it back in 1958 are the strings (obviously) and the volume and tone knobs, they were replaced in 1993 and came directly from Gibson.
