Description: This wonderful, midcentury, 'Rondo' clock has a convex clear plastic face, raised radial ridges marking the hours and a ring of raised dot for the minutes. A bright copper center cradles the time shaft 'spire' that holds the downward curving hands. This style of clock was produced from the mid 1950's into the 1960's and were also made with yellow or green cases. The clock measures approx. 8.5" in diameter and projects approximately 3". If you have an electric outlet at hanging level, the cord can be pushed inside the backing board and out of the way. Condition: This is a used, vintage item with the normal wear one might expect. The red casing is undamaged apart from some minor scuffing scratches here and there. The high convex domed lens has a few notable scuffs/scratches between the 2 and 4 which we've tried to highlight in the photos provided. There are additional, minor scuffs and scratches which don't impair the view. The fiberboard back is clean with intact knockout hole - a feature that allowed the clock to be hung directly over an outlet with no hanging cord. There is printing on the back with instructions for the clock but it has faded and is virtually illegible. The 62" cord & plug does show some soiling. FREE SHIPPING!
