You're looking at an amazing vintage guitar.This is a 1961 Hofner 470 Hollowbody Archtop Electric Guitar.It weighs 6 lbs 6 oz, 25.5" scale, 1.69" nut width.Definitely at the top of the Hofner line, referred to as their golden archtop.Check out the pictures and you can see why- it's so elegant.Extremely figured back/sides, incredible binding, intricate and ornate tailpiece, pearl/celluloid binding throughout f holes/body/neck alike.Hand carved, spruce top, curly maple back/sides, neck, with an ebony board.The perfect tonal combination and union between depth, warmth, brightness, articulation, and volume.Everything appears to be all original as well.Even beyond its aesthetics, and tone - the condition!It's in very good overall condition for its age.Just setup, the neck is straight and the frets are clean. Normal play wear you'd expect from a 60 year old guitar - some marks/scratches, finish checking.
