Description: Large-format fold-out 1962 street map of Seattle, printed more than 60 years ago. This map opens to 38" x 18" and has great detail on old road alignments, including the proposed re-routing of U.S. Route 99 through South Park and construction in progress on the Evergreen Point Floating Bridge. The map also shows the site of the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. The coverage area extends from Edmonds to Normandy Park, east to Lake Sammamish, including Renton, Bellevue, Tukwila, and Redmond. The cartography is by H.M. Gousha, and the map was published by the Automobile Club of Washington in 1962. It is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 6-JJ. Condition: This map is in very good, lightly used condition, bright and clean, with no rips, tears, or writing. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions. Buy with confidence!
