1962 Chevrolet Corvette

Description: You are looking at a 1962 Chevy Corvette - 327 - 3-Speed. My brother is a car dealer, and he purchased this at an auto auction six (6) years ago and then I purchased it off of him. I know nothing about the prior history of this car. There is a picture of the title which is branded "CV" that marks it as a "Classic Vehicle" and it was issued a new VIN number, again, no idea why. I brought the vehicle home and unloaded it off of the trailer and drove it around on and off for a year and then decided to restore it. I recently came across something that I am more interested in, so I decided before getting this car painted and finished thar I would list it and test the waters to see if someone out there is looking for one to make it truly their own. The motor was freshened up, 40 over, new carburetor, new clutch and front disc brakes. It is mechanically ready to go. I had most of the chrome redone (which cost me $10,000). Obviously, it will need the interior and the top redone, but as you can see in the pictures when I purchased it after the auction, it was an everyday driver and in very decent condition but needed freshened up. If someone purchases this, I could have the body bolted back down to the frame, doors, hood and front lid put back on and properly packaged for shipping. Again, I am just testing the waters before sending it out for paint. I just thought perhaps someone might want to have a fun project and truly create something personal to them by picking out the colors and making it unique to their tastes. I am actually having a hard time deciding on what color to even paint it.
