Description: ORIGINAL "FLINTSTONES" EARLY PLAYSET LOT - 1962 Louis Marx / Hanna-Barbera Productions. This character toy grouping includes: (#1) Two hard plastic "Bedrock" buildings (9" x 4" x 4" and 5" x 4" x 4"). (#2) Four hard plastic wall piece sections (each 8.5" x 3/4"). (#3) One green hard plastic mailbox. (#4) Six main character figures – Fred, Wilma, Dino, Baby Puss, Barney & Betty Rubble. (#5) Ten "Bedrock residents" character figures. Fred, Wilma, Barney & Betty each have names molded under base with "(c) Hanna-Barbera Prod". Box & additional figures and accessories are not included in this lot. Not complete, but we consider this a good representation of this popular 1960's character playset. Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Misc. scuffing & surface disfiguring on scattered character figures. Light red spot paint wear appears on main character figures. Fred Flintstone's club has been removed from right hand. Right hand has been removed from "Bedrock boy" figure. Two chips to inner-connector female tabs on larger hard plastic gray building (building still connects & displays well). No other cracks on hard plastic buildings or wall pieces. Overall, despite defects, we feel this is a very displayable grouping by most standards (see photos). Collectively, these playset pieces would make a scarce display for the discriminating FLINTSTONES and/or CHARACTER TOY MEMORABILIA enthusiast.
