Description: Here is a steering column removed from a 1969 Buick Riviera with column shift. This car also had cruise control, so the turn signal lever has the button in the knob as well as wiring attached to it. This unit spins freely and the tilt mechanism is snug and working properly. The threaded end where the steering wheel attaches has good threads and includes the attaching nut. The ignition switch and lock cylinder with key are also included and functional. I am listing this as "for parts or not working" only because there are a few minor issues that can be resolved fairly easily.the shift lever is missingthe turn signal cam will need to be replaced (tube broken off).the flasher knob feels loose and is not functioning properly, so the turn signal switch assembly may need to be replaced.the column locking pin appears to be missing, so when the key is turned off and removed the column does not lock (i.e., the steering wheel can still be turned).Note that the turn signal lever and tilt lever have been removed for shipping purposes, but they are included with the column. This may fit 1970 Riviera as well as other Buick models, but please do your own research to confirm that this will work for your application. Overall length of column from steering box flange to end of threaded shaft is approximately 36 inches. Shipping cost listed is for lower 48 states only.
