Description: CONDITIONThese cookbooks are in good shape. It appears there have been a few spills on pages and even at least one affecting the whole book #1. (see picture) The covers and bindings are solid so these will last for some time. There are notes written on the inside covers as reminder of the thoughtfulness of the gifter of these books. These people were smokers and it is quite evident on these books. So, if that the smell of cigarettes bothers you, these books are not for you. I did not go through every book but I am sure there will be the odd note or highlight here and there, however, as a whole set, this is a good amount of great cooking information. Digitizing the information by taking pictures of every page would be a good option here. Please see pictures for details.
