1972 King Crimson Concert Ticket Stub + Reviews Humble Pie Alexis Korner Chicago

Description: This auction is for an original concert ticket stub and 3 reviews for a Humble Pie / Alexis Korner & Peter Thorup concert which was held on April 11, 1972 at the Arie Crown Theater (McCormick Place) in Chicago, Illinois. The review mentions that Alexis Korner and Peter Thorup were joined by Ian Wallace, Mel Collins, and Boz (referred to as "..late of King Crimson...") As happened at many Chicago venues, the usher kept the large part of the stub, so this stub does not have the band names on it. It has the Date code (411) which stood for April 11. (The original owner kept these in a binder with sheet protectors holding the ticket stub with the review for the concert) This balcony concert ticket cost $4.50 back in 1972. All three clippings review Humble Pie and the Alexis Korner band. I'll also include a photocopy of a newspaper ad showing several concerts scheduled for the Arie Crown, including the Humble Pie concert on April 11. The ticket stub measures 1-7/8" x 2". The stub is in good condition. The three newspaper reviews are yellowed/browned with age - the top one has rubbing to the text on the far right column.
