Rich turquoise, coral, abalone, mother of pearl and tortoise shell, depicting huming birds in flight, are inlaid into a double row of sterling silver beads. Valued at $1,200, the necklace and matching pin, signed by the artist, were donated to the WYES auction by Jeffery's Mary de La Barre, who models it, suggests to the lucky bidder that it be worn with a simple jewel neckline of deep, portrait neckline ball gown.
