Same image and design as Topps US version, but this one is sticker stock - clean back as it was never pasted into an album as was intended. Buy it now, from Spring, TX. Baseball (Beisbol) has always been very popular in Venezuela and still is. In Venezuelan winter leagues regularly attracted current and future MLB players looking to earn some extra money and stay sharp during the winter break. Various local baseball cards & stickers were published, but very difficult to locate in the US, especially in top condition. Typically, cards were pasted into albums, and many sets were actual stickers. Topps ventured in this arena starting in 1959 through the early 1970s, using the same card design, but smaller sets and tiny production numbers compared to those issued produced and distributed in the US. Backs of the cards were often different. The local issue cards are even tougher to locate than the Topps Venezuelans and are most often found pasted into albums.
