Description: From the research I did, this appears to be either the first edition, 1886, or a very early edition, 1900, of Kate Greenaway's "A Apple Pie". It was published in London by Frederick Warne. If anyone has more or different information, please let me know. This copy is in very good vintage condition. The illustrations are bright and clean. There may be one or two small age stains, but overall no smudges, no soil, no tears, no folds. The binding is fully intact. There are three small rust stains at the sight of the staples. While the text pages are unmarked, there is a Christmas gift inscription on the front free end paper. The gift inscription is dated 1948 though the book is definitely older. There is some mild foxing on that same page. There is a faint musty scent. The illustrated boards have some smudges and age discoloration. Please inspect the photographs. The spine is green cloth with minor wear at spine ends. There are 22 color illustrated unnumbered pages. The book measures 10 x 8 inches. Ships with USPS media mail, signature required.
