2 Red Wing Gypsy Trail Turquoise Blue Tumbler Mugs Copper Wooden Handle Ringware

Description: I initially thought this set of two mugs was Bauer ringware but the shape of the vessel and the shape of the wooded handles with copper fittings was a little different. I now believe these to be a Red Wing Pottery piece, perhaps in the Gypsy Trail line. In looking further, looks like there were 189 different pieces in Gypsy Trail so could be! But I did not find a catalog page etc I did find a listing where someone has a similar cup--perhaps shorter--with Red Wing gold stickers on them. Anyway, here are two Red Wing handled mugs featuring a copper and wood handle. The outside is a vibrant turquoise blue. The inside is white. I am going to call it a dingy white, though there is a potential for improvement. I did not try the usual tricks with baking soda, vinegar etc to brighten up the white because I am unsure how to deep clean these without getting the wood handles wet. I will leave that to the buyer. These cups look great with no cracks or chips. Handles are SOLID! Nothing rickety here at all. 5 1/4" tall, 3" in upper diameter. Lovely pieces for your Red Wing or ringware collection!
