2 SOLID DARK HARDWOOD MATCHING PAIR FRAMES For 11x14 Picture DBL Matted Glass

Description: Hello and thank you for viewing our listing Display your precious memories in a classic vintage style with this matching pair of 12x15 picture frames (made two house and 11 x 14 piece of art. The person from whom I purchased these said he believes his wife bought them in the 1980’s or 1990s. They look like they’re brand new. They are in excellent gently used condition. I don’t see any scratches or dings on the frame at all. There’s a little bit of dust inside from whoever framed the pics inside them now. Other than that, they look perfect. Please see photos . They are heavy duty solid hardwood, beautiful wood grain. The back boards also feel heavy duty and thick. There are multiple most likely stainless steel mounting hardware pieces holding everything in place. Each one weighs approximately 2 lbs. 4 oz. There is another pair of frames that we have available in our store that are almost identical, but slightly lighter color wood .The entire frame is 1 inch thick and it looks like there may be 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch of space beneath the glass not including the mattes. I don’t know what the term for it is but between the two mats, there is a space of maybe an eighth of an inch. That is why I called it a shadow mat because you can see a little shadow when you look at it from the right angle and proper lighting . Crafted from natural hardwood, these contemporary frames feature a semi-gloss finish and clear glass. The frames are designed for easy installation and come with horizontal and vertical wall hanging mounts. There are photographic prints inside these picture frames but they look home made. I do not believe there is any value in them but who knows ? obviously you can remove them and frame any artwork you like. They are suitable for holding 11x14 inch photos and have a double shadow matte to enhance the look of your photo.
