Description: DESCRIPTION: CYAN printing plate #'d 1/1. This is one of the actual plates used to make the DUAL DIAMOND MEMORABILIA insert from the ultra premium 2015-16 Panini Flawless issue. The last pic shows an example of the card produced by this plate (that card not included here). Both Bird and Johnson are depicted in their pro jerseys, not their college jerseys.POP 1, by definition, at any grade. One of few plates of Bird or Magic to receive a numerical grade from PSA and currently the only plate of either player on Ebay with a PSA grade, rather than a mere "AUTHENTIC" designation. Further, it's quite possible that this is the highest PSA-graded printing plate of either player across all years and brands. (If anyone wants to do that extensive research, I'd welcome the results.)PSA will authenticate but rarely grades printing plates because most exhibit so much manufacturing wear that they'd all be 1s or 2s at best. At least one criteria for those plates that PSA does grade seems be whether the back shows a full printed layer over the metal, as this one does. (Most printing plates feature mostly exposed metal on the back.)This card comes from a huge recent find of vintage and contemporary jersey and auto cards that had been sitting in boxes for decades.
