Description: This sale is for a lot of three (3) silver plate souvenir spoons featuring distinguished early US Navy battleships from the Flying Squadron of the Spanish-American War. The first features the 1892 pre-dreadnaught "US Battleship Texas- 6315 Tons." The second is the first traditional US battleship "US Battleship Indiana(BB-1)- 10288 Tons." The third is "US Battleship Iowa(BB-4)- 11330 Tons."Each spoon measures about 4 inches in length. The USS Indiana and USS Texas spoons feature Rear Admiral (William T.) Sampson on the handles, the USS Texas spoon has an American Flag. All are marked "Standard" on the back of the handle. The spoons are in excellent condition with a nice patina that I will let the buyer decide if they want to polish it out. They are all in otherwise excellent condition. The lot ships FREE within the US.
