My Saulosi have become accustomed to my hand and will even playfully peck at me while I maintain their tank or swim up to my hand once they feel comfortable. This fish is not the most challenging to care for. However, it requires effective management of aggression and the creation of a tank with adequate hiding spots and space for all inhabitants. Maintaining hard water conditions and adhering to a strict vegetable-based diet, such as Zoo Med Spirulina flakes, are crucial for their well-being.
