The pencil might come off, I did not attempt it, I will leave that up to the buyer. The K (kite) page has a little discoloration on it but it is not crayon or pencil or marker of any kind. Not sure if it is intended to be that way.The L (Lamp) page has shading where there is a shadow on the lamp-it is supposed to be there.The color on the cover and pages are bright.
