Description: Exquisite 14k gold tufa cast bracelet set with spiny oyster, coral, lapis and turquoise by the master artist Al Nez. This bracelet weighs 70.4 grams and measures 5.5 inches tip to tip with a 1-inch opening (total 6.5 inches). It is 5/8 inches wide, set with 14 precious stones. Never worn, previously kept as a showpiece. Al Nez is an award-winning jeweler who draws inspiration from the rich heritage of his Navajo tradition. Born in 1959, Al is a member of the Many Goats Clan, whose father was of the Bitterwater Clan. Al was inspired at a young age by his talented grandfather and began learning silversmithing. Over the years,he has developed a contemporary style drawing from traditional Navajo symbols and now works primarily in 14K gold combined with sterling sliver. It is set with various gemstones, including natural turquoise, coral, lapis, and sugilite. Al has garnered numerous awards at the Annual Intertribal Ceremonial in Gallup, New Mexico, including “Best of Tufa Casting” and“Best of Miniatures” at the Indian Market in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
