Description: Little Betsy is ready for Playtime"walks, sits and kneels" VINTAGE "Tiny Betsy McCall" doll..................... Adorable 8" tall, all hard plastic, original copyright 1957 issue, "Tiny Betsy McCall", advertising doll by American Character Doll Co. with original gorgeous thick, medium brown, Saran (rooted wig) in curly hair style with thick bangs, pretty sleep eyes with molded eyelashes as well as painted lower lashes, brows and closed mouth. She is signed in a circle at her waist and has jointed knees, hips and arms with flat feet and perfect fingers and toes. She is wearing her original classic, 1957, two-piece outfit, #B5/150, "Playtime" that includes her one-piece shirt and pants combination and separate taffeta, "logo", Betsy McCall printed skirt with attached belt with rhinestone and black trim. She is in perfect condition with no nicks, splits or scratches, no chips or cracks, good joints that move well (head a little "swingy" as is most often found) and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. *shown on page 129, "American Character Dolls"-Izen.
