Description: This is a first-generation COPY of the 11th episode script from THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW from 1960. The script and the signature are both copies (not originals). “Christmas Story” was the only Christmas episode made of this iconic and heartwarming comedy series. It was colorized and rebroadcast on CBS in 2015. The episode stars Andy Griffith, Ronny Howard, Don Knotts, Frances Bavier, and Elinor Donahue, with guests Will Wright, Margaret Kerry, and Sam Edwards. In the story, Crotchety old businessman Ben Weaver (Wright) wants moonshiner Sam Muggins (Edwards) locked up for Christmas but, after seeing the holiday spirit in Andy's jail, he tries to get arrested so that he can join in. The script's cover has been reproduced in color and an acetate sheet has been added to keep it looking pristine (to be honest, it looks better than the original). The script pages are printed on one side. Great care has been taken to make this a piece that a collector will be proud to own and show off or frame.
