Description: Nice original 1865 volume of John Leech's "Pictures of Life & Character," which contains both the third & fourth series. The book is in overall very good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. The covers have some mild wear with a section of sunning to the back cover. There is a section of cracking towards the top of the front leather joint; however, the binding of the book is still good and sound. The interior is lightly toned from age with some occasional light foxing & grubbiness. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a small chip or tear, creased page corner, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book is large in size, measuring approximately 18 inches by 12 1/2 inches. It contains 96+94 illustrated pages. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
