Description: Lovely fiftieth wedding anniversary invitation for Mr & Mrs James Wilson. It took place in Washington’s Crossing PA, which used to be called Taylorsville. Now, this may be notable because I *think* this gentleman may be the grandson or great grandson of James Wilson, who signed the Declaration of Independence. Working backwards from being married 50 years as of 1905, he was probably born in the 1830s… James Wilson’s son James was born sometime between 1771 and 1786… That’s as far as I got on this and it’s certainly a common name, but interesting to trace back. —————- This is my hobby so ask me questions- I know a lot and am always learning more!
