Scarce 1923 TEUILA Fortune Telling Cards tarot deck, created by Isobel Field. The deck includes 45 fortune telling cards and box. The cards are used and shows signs of wear and have some stains. The box is in good condition, but with wear and stains. Please see pictures for further condition and details. The deck has a reading style that resembles Lenormand — beautifully drawn, and straightforward. The original creator used them to tell fortunes at the palace of Hawaiian King Kalakaua in the early 1880s; she later moved to Samoa, where the name "Teuila" was born amid the Samoan people. The cards had gold guilt of edges. The card stock is thick and sturdy.Excellent print quality! Please keep in mind that this historic deck is 100 years old.
