Description: Antique 19th Cent. Brass Tavern Bar Top Mounted Corkscrew ACME #3 Antique 19th Cent. Brass Tavern Bar Top Mounted Corkscrew ACME #3 Antique 19th Cent. Brass Tavern Bar Top Mounted Corkscrew ACME #2. A wine bottle opener that was clamped/mounted to table or bar for opening wine bottles. It measures about 14 1/2" long, 4" wide without the clamp or handle. Quite substantial/heavy. It is marked "THE ACME" "patent" "oil". The actual screw piece is missing, the wooden handle is missing (it came with a detached handle that does not appear to fit the corkscrew) and there is some oxidation to the handle and screws, otherwise it appears to be in very good condition, but this is out of my area so I took many pictures. One of several that I am listing from the estate of a dealer in British antiques. Please examine all the photos - there are 26 - as they are an essential part of the description.
