This specific chair was purchased in 1953 by Mr. Briscoe from a used furniture store when he first opened his upholstery shop. In 1993 this chair moved with his grandson to Lakeside Marine Services. A few years later, it went with the expanding business to become part of Lakeside Marine Canvas and transferred to the Johnstone Family. For the majority of its long life, this chair has served as a support for small businesses in our region, and now she looks to support you! By choosing upcycled furniture and goods, you not only gain a beautiful new piece of furniture, but you help reduce material waste in landfills, make a dent in deforestation, and you support local artisans! This chair has been completely disassembled, repaired, and restored to full functionality after its many years of service. New floor protecting pads have been installed as well.
