Description: Up for Auction is an Antique Clay/Composition German Belsnickle Santa in a Red Suit and Blue Pants Holding Goose Feather Branch in his Hand Riding a Paper Mache Felt Covered Donkey w/ Green Felt Saddle & Harness. Santa is approx 5” tall from Tip of his Hood to his Black Boots. There is wear to his black boots and glue residue on his pants in back.The Donkey is in good condition and is of German origin but is unmarked. The Felt is in Good Condition and he has a brown harness . The Donkey has glass or plastic eyes. The Donkey is Approx 4-1/2 ”long and 5" to the tail and approx 4-1/2” tall to the ear. There is some brown stain on the Donkey's right shoulder or it may be old glue, there is also black on the hooves that had additional added along the way. The Santa has a Painted face with and Leather Beard and Mustache-most of his original Rabbit Fur beard is sparse. The Santa’s arms and legs are wired and bend. Shipping to US only $11.75.
