Description: Offered here is an Antique Copper Tip Soldering Iron, "Otto Bernz Co. Newark, NJ, 2 PUR" my No. 8, approx. 15 1/2" long including wooden handle. Inc. in 1920. Copper head is approx. 3 1/2 long X 7/8" X 7/8". The iron handle / shank is approx. 7/16" wide. Nice with some typical use wear on the copper old solder residue on the tip. The wooden handl;e is trash - old post holebeattle damage. I can remove it if you like or ship it so you can match the handle. Came from a local house - the elderly lady said her grandfather was a plumber beginning in the late 1800's until about 1920. Add it to your collection.
