Description: A striking antique original Victorian 1860's brown printed cotton and wool blend dress. The fabric has a beige and white floral pattern with aqua green leaves. The neck, armscyes and waist are all piped. The bodice has a dropped shoulder line. It is lined with cotton and has a front hook and eye closure. The skirt is attached to the waist with cartridge pleating. It is unlined except for a band of cotton at the edge of the hemline. The dress is in very good and sturdy condition. There is some minor fraying under the arms, a small fray mark on one sleeve and a 1/2 fray mark near the edge of the hemline. There is some mild underarm discoloration mostly to the inside lining.
