Description: Gorgeous Gold & Red Goofus Glass 10.5” Plate. Featuring vibrant red berries that pop off of the plate. There are some places where the gold is coming off as seen in the pictures. Goofus is where pressed glass is “cold painted”. A technique whee the glass is decorated with unfired enamel paint. It preceded carnival glass in the early 20th century by several prominent glass factories including The Indiana Glass Company, Dugan Diamond Co., and H Northwood.
