Antique Native American Santo Domingo Large Turquoise, Wood Thunderbird Necklace

Description: Antique/vintage authentic Native American, Santo Domingo hand crafted turquoise, wood, early plastics, etc. thunderbird necklace. This necklace is 17 1/2” long and weighs approximately 57 grams. PLEASE NOTE: the thunderbird pendant is damaged, as can be seen in my photos. The rest of the necklace is intact and original with a brass screw-in clasp. I purchased this necklace a few years ago from a collector. I rarely see these larger Santo Domingo thunderbird necklaces. While this one is damaged, an enterprising person could probably execute a good repair on the attached thunderbird pendant. It would certainly be worth the effort. This necklace is being sold “AS IS”, of course. Aside from the missing lower wing on the thunderbird and a stretched cord, this necklace is in really nice antique condition.
