Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE ANTIQUE KELLY RED WARRIOR AXE BOX Here is an old original wood box crate from the Kelly Axe and Tool Works of the American Fork and Hoe Company which was in Charleston, West Virginia. I was told this box is from maybe the 1920's - 30's. It is an early version of the Kelly Axe box for their Red Warrior axe. See the photos for the stenciled information on the front, side and bottom surface. The front has Red Warrior in Red. It measures 11" inches long, 6" inches tall, and 7” wide, wood is 1/2" inch thick. Great patina, made with thick wood, nice and tightly nailed together and in very good condition for its age. This box contained small Red Warrior axes that were handled. I was told the handles would be attached to the axe heads and sit up in the box and the handles tied together in the box. I have recently been selling many tools from my collection in fine condition to woodworkers who have emailed me with compliments on the quality of the tools and their ready to use condition.
