Description: Antique Silverplate Large Brides Basket Frame Rogers Bros. Measures: 12 1/4" tall, 9 1/4" wideThe area a bowl would fit outer edge is 7 7/16", inner edge (actually hole) is 6 5/8". Marked: Rogers & Bro Triple Plate 251 The frames handle is strong and intact. The handle is a bit out of shape and you may be able to bend it, it is strudy. The handle has an ornate piece adorn on each side of a child cherub picking fruitoff of a tree using a basket. Very cute. The legs are intact and sturdy. One leg is bent inward but the frame still sets flat on a surface. No wobble. I have not polished and once it is you probably will find plate loss. There is a bent area on the outside lower edge of the rim. I've noted this in an image. Such a unique piece of our silverplate brides basket history.
