Description: A gorgeous, fine quality antique solid silver pocket watch chain. There are no hallmarks but tested as solid silver. Includes 6 threepence piece coins (thrupenny bits) with 4 Queen Victoria pieces dated 1883, 1886, 1889 and 1900 and two George V pieces dated 1911 and 1914. I assume these last two coins were a later addition for the owner. The whole piece is extremely Victorian in style, other than the addition of these 2 coins. Particularly since Edward V11 has been missed out altogether! The interlinking scalloped pieces are chased to the top and plain silver to the bottom. Again, very nineteenth century in style. Dog clip to one end and jump ring to the other. Measurements: length is 11.75" (including fittings). Weight: 22.98gms. In good antique condition, please view all the photos for clear detail.
