Description: ATLAS CRAFTSMAN 6 INCH LATHE M6-11 GEAR CASE with Oilite Bearings This item has been closely designed and 3D printed to operate and function just like the original part. The part doesn't quite look like the original zamak part because I was able to increase strength in places that need more rigidity. The design has original tapped holes for installation but does NOT have the alignment pins which are not required for operation. Simply adjust for best alignment and tighten the bolts on the front of the apron (Do NOT overtighten as that may damage the threads). Apply a little lube to the bearing before installing your original gears (doesn't include gears) and you are ready to get back to making chips. Part is made of a strong plastic with enhanced properties suitable for this application. It has been designed in such a way as to maximize the infill structure and percentage to increase strength. note: DOES NOT INCLUDE GEARS OR ORIGINAL METAL PART SHOWN FOR COMPARISON ONLY.
