On June 9, 2016, the Governor of the Bank of Thailand unveiled this special edition banknote, celebrating the historic milestone. These banknotes are a one-time issue with no additional prints planned. The front of the banknote features a distinguished portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej in the uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, adorned with the Royal House of Chakri gown and prestigious orders, including the Knight Grand Cordon (Special Class) of the Most Illustrious Order of Chula Chom Klao. On the reverse side, the banknote depicts His Majesty in full regal attire, holding the Sword of Victory, standing majestically before the Phuttan Kanchanasinghat Throne within Paisan Taksin Hall.
