Description: I. History: a. Kim The Litigator:Disclaimer Kim The litigator is a product of my imagination using items of Barbie of the Mattel Toy company. Kim, the litigator, is not a registered trademark of either Barbie or the Mattel toy company. Any resemblance to anyone living or dead is purely coincidental. Kim was born in Los Angeles, CA, to Korean parents who Immigrated from Taegu, South Korea. As a young girl, Kim witnessed racism firsthand when gangs of racists destroyed South Central Los Angeles Korean businesses. The following day the racist gangs threatened to take over and burn down her neighborhood of Koreatown. The Police urged the Korean immigrant population to evacuate, and many planned to until a Korean Attorney annouced on the local Korean radio station that under American Law residents have "a right to defend their homes if necessary with firearms". The Lawyers words were a game-changer, and many racists were killed trying to loot and burn down Korea Town. Kim never forgot that life lesson and from that day forward vowed to be a Lawyer and defend the rights of the innocent and the hard-working people threatened by injustice. Kim would graduate Summa cum laude from Harvard Law School, return to California and be a feared trial lawyer in civil litigation. b. Barbib BMR1959 Signiture edition (Kira): The doll is part of the BMR1959 collection. Skin color is a vibrant golden orange on the mark and falls well within that of Korean, Chinese, or Japanese. Again, Mattel did an above-average job with the color. Eyes are beautiful and easily recognizable as East Asian. The eye color is brown with excellent depth that gleams in the sunlight. Nose and cheekbones are easily distinguished as East Asian. The collection is designed by Carlyle Nuera, the Lead Designer for Barbie Signature at Mattel. The Doll is well made with exceptional detail and heavier than the Fully Articulated M2M line. The Articulated body gives a natural posture for better posing for better photo shots. Earlobes can accommodate most Barbie earrings. b. Model Finish:Hair is Dark brown Straight up in a plastic hairband. It can be let down by removing the band (see image #13 showing full-length)and will fall below the shoulders, but not as far as mid-back.
