Description: This Belo Portugal MCM fish serving platter is downright amazing: It's large and quirky, and you can actually feel the ridges of its gills and scales with your fingers. It measures 18 inches across and almost 10 inches wide at its midsection. Its height is about 2.5 inches. The fish's color is a cross between an olive green and gray, with some light white blending into its bottom scales. This platter has retained a ton of its gloss and shine. There are no cracks, and there is no scratching at all on the plate's front that I can see. It does have a few small flaws: There is one line of crazing just below the fish's eye (see 4th to last photo), it has one very small chip on the top of the plate where the dorsal fin begins (see last photo) as well as a few tiny chips that look more like flaking on the bottom part of its tail and bottom fin (see 2nd and 3rd to last photos). Its underside shows some signs of wear. Regardless, this fish platter is still 100% fabulous. The back of this piece is marked 515/4 Made in Portugal.
