It has the original cardboard cut out to protect each of the wooden doors. See pictures. It measures roughly 18 inches by 15 inches by 3.5 inches The advent calendar has 24 doors to be filled with surprises to be opened on the corresponding day in December. Since you can add different surprises each December, this calendar can be used year after year. Each door opens easily and there does not appear to be any nicks gouges or stains on any part of the calendar. Please look at the pictures.
