Cinema Rehoused Zeiss Contax Macro 50mm, 1.4

Description: This is a Zeiss Contax Macro 50mm, serial number 5942319, f 1.4 with a cinema style rehousing and PL mount. As far as I can tell by the style of the rehousing, it was done by Eastern Enterprises in Japan, who have rehoused other lenses for me. I purchased the lens in 2014 from Lensworks Rentals. The focus ring has 810 degrees of rotation, with a close focus of approx 3 inches from the front element (approx .5 inch from the lens hood). The surface has minor scuff marks. No dings or dents. The front element has a minor scuff mark in the center (presumably from mishandling when cleaning - see last image) and some typical dust on the inside elements. There is one spec of larger dust that is impossible to photograph, but it has never affected image quality in the ten years that I have used this lens. The rear element is pristine. All elements: NO fungus, NO yellowing, NO decay of coatings or glue. Aperture blades are clean. From my own experience of using this lens for a decade, it renders beautiful colors and is razor sharp at 5.6, then quite acceptable at larger apertures. 1.4 in macro gets soft, but is still useable, depending on your taste. This is an excellent lens that has served me well shooting on an Arri 35III, a Red Scarlet Dragon, and Red Komodo. Feel free to ask questions.
